Pentax ha annunciato ieri una nuova DSLR entry-level: la Pentax K-x.
Il corpo è basato su quello della K-m. Il sensore (CMOS) ha una risoluzione di 12,4 megapixel, autofocus ad 11 punti, Live View e video in HD 720p.
Il colore del corpo sarà disponibile in nero e bianco (Limited edition invece per la colorazioni rosso e blu).
A partire dal prossimo ottobre, questa fotocamera sarà disponibile al prezzo di 649,95$ (poco meno di 600€) con ottica 18-55mm DA-L.

La Pentax K-x offre prestazioni degne di una DSLR di una classe superiore, e che ci offre diverse funzionalità:
Sensore da 12,4 megapixel con movimento del sensore (sensor-shift) per ridurre le vibrazioni e quindi stabilizzare le immagini. La sensibilità varia tra un minimo di 100 ISO e 12800 ISO.

Il display LCD ha una diagonale da 2,7 pollici, con Live View. Del resto il corpo sarà uno dei più compatti tra quelli disponibili sul mercato, e realizzato in acciaio inossidabile. Nel complesso il layout dei pulsanti risulta efficente.
Acquisizione di video widescreen in HD 720p (1280×720) a 24 fps, con qualunque ottica Pentax da 35mm.

Disponibile l’ HDR (High Dynamic Range) per “miscelare” tre immagini in una sola ed ottenere foto fantastiche, definite sia nei punti più bui che in quelli più luminosi. Questa caratteristicha è ancora oggi riservata a poche fotocamere, e spesso dobbiamo munirci di cavalletto e fare un buon “post processing” per ottenere delle foto HDR.

Scatto continuo
che si attesta a 4,7 fps, e velocità di scatto massima a 1/6000 s. La velocità dello scatto a raffica è il più elevato tra tutte le fotocamere “entry-level”. L’otturatore è garantito ben 100.000 scatti.
Pentax PRIME (Pentax Real IMage Engine) II è il motore di imaging. Offre una notevole velocità d’immagine, resa dei colori molto ricca e accurata.
Prima di abbandonarci la batteria ci permette di scattare ben 1900 fotografie.
