Canon ha aggiornato la sua super-zoom: la PowerShot SX120 IS. Presenta lo lo stesso obiettivo zoom 10x (36-300mm equiv.) e display LCD da 3 pollici del suo predecessore, la SX110 IS. Nel contempo però questa nuova fotocamera ha visto il numero di pixel arrivare a ben 10Mp. Il resto delle caratteristiche sono simili a SX110 IS, ma con modalità di scatto più veloci e Face Detection in grado di rilevare fino a 35 facce.
